What Type of NDIS Funding Can Your Receive?
Understanding the world of NDIS funding allows you to identify and access the specific assistance that best aligns with your individual needs and aspirations.
What specific supports are funded by the NDIS?
Daily personal activities
Transportation to enable participation in the community, social, economic and daily life activities
Therapeutic supports, including behaviour support
Assistance with household tasks to enable participants to maintain a healthy home environment
Professional assistance for participants in need of equipment assessment, set up and training
Home modification design and construction
Mobility equipment
Vehicle modifications
It is important to know that some of the supports that you require will not be funded by the NDIS. The NDIS cannot fund support that is:
Not related to a person's disability
The responsibility of another government system or community service
Related to daily living expenses that are not included in the participant's support needs as outlined in the NDIS Plan, or
Is likely to cause harm to the participant or pose a risk to others.
